ABOUT AMPEDREVIEWS.NET

Through a combination of passions for music and writing, AmpedReviews was born on December 11th 2006. Previously writing reviews for the likes of RockPulse.co.uk and ProvokeTheStep.co.uk, I felt it was time to start up my own zine and to gain some experience working in the internet and music worlds.

Throughout it's first year on the web Amped Reviews has grown increasingly and the number of reviews it currently holds is outstanding. Staff are still working on adding more contents to the website such as live photography and more interviews with bands.

As well as reviewing signed bands we also like to give unsigned bands a chance to have their CDs or live shows reviewed. We are also trying to introduce local bands from Southampton and Weston Super Mare which is where we are based! Already we have an interview with Southampton's Plastic Toys and reviews of Not Advised, Luke Leighfield and Munroe Effect.

AMPEDREVIEWS.NET - THE FUTURE

As AmpedReviews.net grows older we will gather much more content and many more staff members. We want to bring new music to people all over the world and be one of the most popular music zines we can be. In the future I would like to see AmpedReviews as a printed magazine.
