Dialog - Far Too Long EP

Myspace.com/DialogOnline

For the cynics out there to whom the idea of European Rock Music conjures up images of leather clad, long haired and bearded blokes roaring down the mic in bad European/American English, the prospect of a band consisting of a Spaniard, a Bulgarian, a Frenchman and an Englishman may not fare too well. Add to this a previous EP being named ‘Euro Pop’ which, translated directly could represent early ‘90’s electro combined with vocals resembling Whigfield’s ‘Saturday Night’ and Acapella’s ‘U got 2’, one could almost be forgiven for thinking this is a recipe for disaster…

Enter DIALOG; All of the above, yet none of the above. European yes... Rock yes… Leather clad and roaring? Definitely not... Unless there is a need for it. As for ‘90’s electro and Whigfield – the less said about that the better.

With the raw yet velvety and at times powerfully soulful rock vocals of Plamen B, lively funk-rock rhythms of drummer Ollie S and bass player George George and electrifying lead guitar from Adam Petty, here we have a rock band whose sound is so emotion fuelled and uplifting you can’t help but be absorbed into their own brand of musical ecstasy.

Their latest EP called ‘Far Too Long’, has the first track of that name as a soul tugging piece of artistry so damn good it will have the hairs all over your body standing on end.

The second track ‘Mystery’ is a beautiful acoustic rock ballad you get the feeling only vocalists with true talent could pull off so smoothly. And ‘Step On My Face’, a terrifically angry yet upbeat track that just makes you want to get up and throw yourself around with emphatic release.

One listen to this band and it is easy to see why they have so far received fantastic reviews from industry insiders and the general public alike and are gaining more and more airplay throughout the UK. If you want to be onto the Next Big Thing in rock before anyone else then get into Dialog… But you had better be quick!
