The new single from the duo known as Marmaduke Duke opens with a pleasing upbeat riff. The lyrics of the track are heartfelt and emotional and this can be seen in the following lyric “I don't care about money, you can scream you don't love me! I'll make you so proud of me, and you can care for me too...” This lyric shows the gentle side to the duo and it is down to the strength of the lyrics that the track is a good and memorable as it is.

The track Silhouettes is a perfect slice of jaunty indie pop summery goodness, it could well be the opening track if you are planning on making a mix tape for the summer of 2009. The song is due to be released on the 6th of July it will only be available in two formats, limited edition 7” single and download only. I strongly urge you to check it out and if you like what you hear, then I would suggest that you follow up this song by getting yourself a copy of their album.
