The Hoosiers' debut album is a quirky mixture of fun, sillyness and catchy tracks. The first two released singles from the album; 'Worried About Ray' and 'Goodbye Mr A' were good singles that I loved and so eagerly awaited Christmas time when I knew a Hoosiers-shaped box would appear under my tree.

When I first played the album I was frankly rather disappointed. The first two released singles were the only two songs that had me dancing around the room and I was irritated that this promising and lively band hadn't lived up to my expectations. However, as I continued to listen to each track over and over, an affection began to grew. That affection has now turned to love and soon, when I know all the words to every track, I'll be jumping up and down in my room screaming the lyrics at the top of my lungs in no time.

For everyone who likes added bonus' on CDs (not for me personally but I appreciate they're there), The Hoosiers is filled to the brim with extra videos, songs and other little goodies, and unlike most bands these days, The Hoosiers don't seem to take themselves too seriously.

For the first time in a long while, I've listened to a band who haven't just sung about heartbreak and rejection but about childhood games, rabbits and superheros. That's what I love about this album and that's how they've become one of my favourite bands. The Hoosiers may not be for everyone, but I'll definitely continue to buy their CDs in the future.
