CD Tracklisting
1. In The Night
Buckinghamshire based troublemakers Young Guns are setting tongues wagging all over the rock music industry with their debut single 'In The Night,' produced by Dan Weller and Justin Hill (Johnny Truant, Haunts and Exit Ten) and released on February 2nd 2009 on Live Forever Records.
They've already supported the likes of Funeral For A Friend, Lagwagon and You Me At Six and are currently kicking up fuss as the main support act for We Are The Ocean, aswell as being on the brink of release with their forthcoming EP 'Mirrors.'
Frontman Gustav Wood has been quoted as saying that 'In The Night' is about "the idea of being in love with night time, and more specifically - the more self destructive element of partying too hard," and with the track's grizzly guitars and Gustav's boisterous party animal vocals, this subject matter is distinctively bought to life.
The pounding beats and deep, dark choruses represent the drunken debauchery that many have experienced in their lifetime. The waking up in an alleyway the next day and asking yourself why you did this.
'In The Night,' is why you did it. Whether it's listening to this track or going out partying all night, you don't need to think about the effect it has on you until it's over and unlike a heavy night, 'In The Night,' has a kinder aftershock.
